
The 1st Dong Anh Commune Trade Union Congress has the task of reporting on the situation of workers, civil servants, laborers and activities of grassroots trade unions under the commune trade union after implementing the organization and arrangement of two-level local government; deciding on targets, directions, tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 term and many other important contents.
Assessments show that, although newly established, Dong Anh Commune Labor Union has urgently improved its apparatus and built operating regulations. One of the notable achievements is that the Commune Labor Union has proactively coordinated with the commune government and grassroots unions to strengthen the supervision of occupational safety and hygiene and the quality of mid-shift meals, protecting the legitimate interests of workers. At the same time, it has maintained activities of visiting and supporting workers in difficult circumstances, grasping the aspirations of union members and workers.
In the 2025-2030 term, the Commune Trade Union sets the following targets: Every year, strive to mobilize the establishment of 3 or more new grassroots trade unions; have 90% or more union members and workers in the commune propagated, disseminated, studied, and thoroughly understood the Party's guidelines and resolutions, and the State's laws and policies related to labor and Trade Unions.

In addition, 100% of grassroots union officials are trained and fostered in professional skills of union work. Strive to have 100% of meeting documents digitized by the end of the term, 100% of meetings are paperless; 100% of commune union officials proficiently apply artificial intelligence applications and software (AI, ChatGPT) to perform and resolve work. On average, each grassroots union introduces at least 1 outstanding union member for the Party to train and consider admission...
The Commune Union has identified breakthroughs, including: Applying information technology, digital transformation in union member management, operating union activities and communications, enhancing interaction, grasping union members' thoughts and aspirations through social networks, Zalo groups, and the Commune Union information page. Along with that, promoting dialogue and signing union member welfare programs with businesses and business households, focusing on employment, wages, and occupational safety and hygiene.
Speaking at the Congress, Permanent Vice President in charge of the Hanoi City Labor Confederation Le Dinh Hung requested the Dong Anh Commune Labor Union to focus on performing well its representative function, caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers. Participate in building and perfecting legal policies, especially those directly related to workers; guide and participate in negotiating and signing Collective Labor Agreements.
At the Congress, delegates heard the announcement of the Decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Inspection Committee and positions of officials of Dong Anh Commune Trade Union for the first time, term 2025 - 2030. Accordingly, comrade Nguyen Duc Binh was appointed as Chairman of the Commune Trade Union.
