The representative of Nha Trang - Dien Khanh Forest Protection Department said that according to Circular No. 27 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment on the management of endangered, precious and rare species; raising common wild animals and implementing the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora, after organizations and individuals discover lost endangered, precious and rare animals, they must immediately inform the People's Committee at the commune level for timely reception. The People's Committee at the commune level will verify information related to the lost animals and release them back to a suitable natural environment. If the animals meet the conditions for release, they will be transferred to a biodiversity conservation facility for rescue, care and nurturing for conservation purposes.
However, later, the wharf received a response from the leader of the People's Committee of Nam Nha Trang ward that the ward did not have the expertise to receive and care for endangered, precious, and rare animals.
