Approving the appointment of two Vice Chairmen of the National Assembly Le Minh Hoan and Vu Hong Thanh

(TN&MT) - Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Le Minh Hoan and Chairman of the National Assembly's Economic Committee Vu Hong Thanh were elected as Vice Chairmen of the National Assembly on the afternoon of February 18.

Mr. Le Minh Hoan, 64 years old; Master of Economics, Architect; hometown in My Tra commune, Cao Lanh city, Dong Thap province. He is a member of the Party Central Committee, 12th and 13th terms, and a National Assembly delegate, 11th, 13th, 14th and 15th terms.

He has held the position of Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development from 2021 to present.

Mr. Vu Hong Thanh, 63 years old, from Minh Tan commune, Nam Sach district, Hai Duong province; degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is a member of the Party Central Committee, terms 12 and 13, and a National Assembly delegate, terms 14 and 15.

Mr. Thanh has worked at the National Assembly and held the position of Chairman of the Economic Committee from July 2016 to present.

The 15th National Assembly is chaired by Mr. Tran Thanh Man, with 6 Vice Chairmen including Mr./Ms. Nguyen Khac Dinh, Nguyen Duc Hai, Tran Quang Phuong, Nguyen Thi Thanh, Vu Hong Thanh and Le Minh Hoan.
