In addition, 8 people are missing (in Gia Lai , ship BD 97258 TS/8 workers lost contact with their families at 8:13 p.m. on September 27, in an area about 110 nautical miles off the coast of Gia Lai).
There are nearly 105,000 damaged house, roof blown off, private Nghe An nearly 20,000 houses, Ha Tinh nearly 79,000 houses; nearly 3,400 houses in Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh were flooded and 2,742 households in Ha Tinh was isolated and divided. 65,000 square meters of corrugated iron roof of a factory and office in Vung Ang Economic Zone, Ha Tinh province was blown away.
Regarding agriculture, about 9,400 hectares of rice and crops were flooded and damaged, and nearly 1,800 hectares of aquaculture were damaged.
Flooding and traffic jams at 163 underground overflow points on national highways in Son La, Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh, Quang Tri provinces, Da Nang city; flooding and landslides on some provincial and rural roads caused traffic jams. More than 6,400m of embankments, river banks, and coastlines were eroded.
Regarding electricity, more than 3,400 electric poles were broken and felled, concentrated in Ninh Binh, Nghe An, and Ha Tinh. Currently, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, and Quang Tri provinces are experiencing widespread power outages.
Regarding trees, more than 13,000 trees were broken, concentrated in Nghe An. Currently, localities are continuing to review, compile damage data and organize to overcome the consequences.

Floods in the downstream of Ma River (Thanh Hoa), Ca River (Nghe An), La River (Ha Tinh) are rising. The water level at 7 p.m. on Ma River at Giang station is 0.09 m below BĐ2; on Ca River at Nam Dan station is 0.44 m below BĐ2; on La River at Linh Cam station is 0.34 m above BĐ1.
It is forecasted that tonight to tomorrow morning, floods on the Red River and Ma River will rise above level 3; and the Ca River will rise above level 2.
Tomorrow, floods on Thao and Ma rivers will fluctuate above level 3, and Ca rivers will be below level 3.
It is forecasted that from tonight until September 30, in Son La, Phu Tho and Lao Cai provinces, there will be heavy to very heavy rain with common rainfall of 70 - 150mm, locally very heavy rain over 250mm.
Other places in the North and Thanh Hoa have moderate to heavy rain with common rainfall of 50 - 100mm, locally very heavy rain over 200mm.
There is a risk of flooding in low-lying areas along rivers and urban areas in Lao Cai province, from Thanh Hoa to Ha Tinh and Dong Nai.
