Vice President of KN Holdings honored in Top 10 Outstanding Vietnamese Female Entrepreneurs 2025

The ceremony to honor 98 outstanding female entrepreneurs nationwide was directed by VCCI (Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry), jointly organized by the Embassy of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, UN Women and the Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Council. The title "Outstanding Vietnamese Female Entrepreneur - Golden Rose" aims to encourage and promote the Vietnamese female entrepreneurs in the spirit of Resolution No. 41 of the Politburo on building and promoting the role of Vietnamese entrepreneurs in the new situation and Resolution No. 68 of the Politburo on developing the private economy.

Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh and VCCI Chairman Pham Tan Cong presented the Golden Rose title to Ms. Le Nu Thuy Duong.

Ms. Le Nu Thuy Duong was honored with the “Golden Rose 2025” as a comprehensive recognition for her contributions in business administration, management, social responsibility and sustainable development orientation. This is not only her personal pride but also a testament to the mettle, intelligence and international aspirations of Vietnamese women in the integration era, actively contributing to the overall development of the country.

Courage is forged in the midst of economic crisis

After completing her Master's degree in Australia in 1997, Ms. Le Nu Thuy Duong returned to Vietnam at the time when her family business was severely affected by the regional financial crisis. Accompanying her parents - Labor Hero Le Van Kiem and Labor Hero Tran Cam Nhung, she overcame the most difficult period, directly participating in restructuring operations, strengthening the management and financial systems, and steadfastly steering the business with her family through the storms at that time.

Those years have forged her leadership qualities and mindset: Practical, persistent and always aiming for long-term values. She learned not only from the international environment, but also from her own parents - businessmen who always take the interests of the country and serving the community as their development mission.

During nearly three decades of leading KN Holdings, Ms. Le Nu Thuy Duong has made an important contribution to strategic changes, shaping KN Holdings as a sustainable multi-industry corporation, operating in five core areas: Real estate, renewable energy, industrial parks - logistics, services and high-tech agriculture. Not stopping at urban real estate, she and the Board of Directors of KN Holdings Group expanded their vision to create large-scale, synchronous and sustainable projects. From the CaraWorld coastal super urban area of nearly 800 hectares in Bai Dai to 3 solar power plants that have been put into stable operation in Khanh Hoa province, or 2 industrial parks Nam Long Thanh and Dong Long Thanh (phase 1, each area is 1,000 hectares) in Dong Nai - all projects bear the mark of modern development thinking, applying technology and aiming for growth in harmony with the environment.

Volunteer projects with a spirit of dedication

For Ms. Le Nu Thuy Duong, serving society is not an obligation but a mission. Over the years, she, her family and KN Holdings have contributed more than 2,900 billion VND to social activities in 5 key areas: Health, education, environment, gratitude and disaster relief.

Ms. Le Nu Thuy Duong presented a plaque to support 180 billion VND for the program "Eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" nationwide.

In particular, during the Covid-19 pandemic, the Group donated more than 600 billion VND to the frontline against the epidemic. In 2024, responding to the Government's call, KN Holdings continued to contribute 180 billion VND to the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide. She is also one of the few Vietnamese people to personally contribute 3 million USD to the Global Fund to Fight Tuberculosis, bringing the total budget to support Vietnam to 13.5 million USD in combination with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the US Government.

In addition, she is a pioneer in spreading the spirit of volunteerism associated with sustainable development through programs such as "Toilet for Children" - in collaboration with the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association to build more than 100 highland projects in the period 2023 - 2025, or the golf tournament "For Beloved Truong Sa - Swing for Truong Sa" in 2019, calling for more than 136 billion VND to support soldiers and people on remote islands, of which she alone supported 12 billion VND for the project "Truong Sa Sweet Sea" - a humane initiative, bringing fresh water to the outpost island of the Fatherland.

As a member of the Executive Committee of VCCI, term VII, and a member of the Council of Leading Vietnamese Enterprises, Ms. Le Nu Thuy Duong has always actively advised and contributed policy ideas, contributing to building a transparent and favorable investment and business environment for Vietnamese enterprises. VCCI Vice President Hoang Quang Phong commented: "Ms. Le Nu Thuy Duong is one of the dynamic, responsible and active businesswomen in the activities of the Executive Committee in particular and VCCI in general, especially in the work of giving policy ideas, supporting the development of enterprises and entrepreneurs".

Those persistent efforts have been recognized with a series of noble awards such as: First-class Labor Medal (2023), Second-class (2021), Third-class (2017), the title "Outstanding Manager of Vietnam - ASEAN" (2020) and many certificates of merit from central ministries and branches.
