Ninh Thuan General Hospital cooperates to improve the quality of neonatal care and treatment

On October 22, Ninh Thuan General Hospital received a delegation from Children's Hospital 2, Ho Chi Minh City, to work, supervise expertise and provide technical training on neonatal care and treatment.

The working group of Children's Hospital 2 provided specialized training for medical staff of Ninh Thuan General Hospital.

The delegation of Children's Hospital 2, Ho Chi Minh City, surveyed and evaluated the reality at the Department of Pediatrics, the Department of Neonatology, the neonatal corner of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and the Department of Surgery - Anesthesia and Resuscitation. Through the survey, the delegation comprehensively evaluated the care and treatment of newborns, and at the same time had in-depth discussions with the medical staff of Ninh Thuan General Hospital on solutions to improve the quality of treatment and the capacity to handle serious and complicated cases right at the provincial level; and guided the medical staff, doctors, and nurses to improve the care, monitoring, and treatment process.

Within the framework of the program, the expert team of Children's Hospital 2, Ho Chi Minh City also organized a training course on "Pre-operative resuscitation for diaphragmatic hernia in newborns" for the team of doctors and nurses of Ninh Thuan General Hospital. This activity helps to improve the hospital's skills in handling surgical emergencies in newborns.
