On August 19, after the official welcoming ceremony, the wife of General Secretary and President Xi Jinping, Ms. Peng Liyuan, invited the wife of General Secretary and President To Lam, Ms. Ngo Phuong Ly, to enjoy a tea party and watch traditional Chinese art performances.

At the tea party, Mrs. Ngo Phuong Ly expressed her joy at meeting Mrs. Peng Liyuan and respectfully conveyed the warm regards of the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's wife, Mrs. Ngo Thi Man, to Mrs. Peng Liyuan.
