Yen Nghia Ward organizes volleyball tournament to celebrate Capital Liberation Day

Towards the 71st anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2025), on October 9, Yen Nghia Ward People's Committee organized a volleyball tournament with the active and enthusiastic participation of local people.

This is one of the competitions in the 1st Sports Festival of Yen Nghia ward, aiming to promote physical training movement, improve cultural and spiritual life of the people.

The tournament took place in a vibrant, united and exciting atmosphere. The men's and women's teams competed in a round robin format, bringing attractive and emotional matches and receiving enthusiastic cheers from the local people.

In the end, the men's team of residential group 14 won the first prize with a stable performance and convincing competition. In the women's category, residential group 15 excelled and won the championship. The second prize for men was awarded to the joint team of residential groups 15 and 16, while the women's team of residential group 14 won the second prize in the women's category. The third prize for men went to the joint team of residential groups 14, 15, 16; and the two third prizes for women were awarded to residential groups 16 and 17.

The success of the tournament lies not only in the results, but also in the noble sportsmanship, solidarity and excitement that the athletes and fans bring, contributing to spreading the spirit of sports training and healthy cultural life in the community.

According to the plan to organize the first Yen Nghia Ward Sports Festival in 2025, the ward level will organize 8 events including: Badminton, chess, Chinese chess, tug of war, cross-country, volleyball, table tennis, and aerobics. The competitions will take place from October 4 to 20, 2025.

It is expected that the opening ceremony of the 1st Yen Nghia Ward Sports Festival in 2025 will take place on October 28, 2025.
