Recently, netizens in China shared a video recording the scene of Bao Tuyen tourist area in Tan Huong ( Henan , China) using cotton, white sand... to cover the landscape and roofs to look like real snow, making tourists angry.

In the video , the tourist accused the scenic spot of deceiving customers. He said the snow here was made from cotton and other materials and not naturally falling snow.

"How am I going to explain this to my child?", the male tourist asked.

Since December 8, this place has been advertising with videos of beautiful snow and ice scenes to attract tourists to the "Ice and Snow Festival". The management board affirmed that the snow here is not cold, does not melt and is not slippery, so tourists can freely take photos and check-in.

The hype has made many tourists try to arrange time to visit. However, they get annoyed when they realize the scenery is artificial.

One netizen said: "I came here after watching a video from a social media content creator. The landscape had no snow, just white cotton."

"I took my child out to see the snow but was disappointed. The snow here is different from what I saw in books. The child wondered why the snow didn't melt," one person commented.

Responding to the above incident, Bao Tuyen tourist area (Henan province, China) said that this year, the weather in this province is not very cold, so there has been no snow yet.

"In response to everyone's expectations, the scenic area has adopted a special method to create a snow landscape for visitors to enjoy and take pictures for free. The snow here is not real, but the cotton and white sand... are carefully arranged and designed, making the landscape look real. We hope to bring visitors a poetic and unique snow scene," the tourist area's letter to visitors wrote.

According to this tourist area, it is expected to snow around the end of December or the beginning of January. At that time, the management board will specifically notify visitors to take photos and experience.
