The Argentina team is the current World Cup champion.

These countries include: Portugal, Spain (Europe), Morocco (Africa), Uruguay, Argentina and Paraguay (South America).

Accordingly, all 6 countries mentioned above are automatically qualified for the 2030 World Cup without having to go through the qualifying round.

The opening three matches of the 2030 World Cup are being held in South American countries to celebrate 100 years since the first World Cup.

Specifically, in the first tournament held in 1930, Uruguay was the host country, Argentina became the runner-up, and the South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL) was based in Paraguay.

After three matches in South America, the teams will travel to Africa and Europe to continue playing the remaining matches of the 2030 World Cup.

The final of the 2030 tournament is scheduled to be held at Real Madrid's Bernabeu stadium (Spain).

Notably, this is also the first time Morocco has hosted a World Cup. Before that, they had competed for the right to host 5 times but failed.

The 2030 World Cup will be the first time a World Cup will be held in six separate countries.

Meanwhile, the 2026 tournament will also see two more countries hosting the biggest football festival on the planet (Canada, Mexico and the United States).
