The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) donated 152 water tanks to people affected by natural disasters in Hoa An commune - Cao Bang Electronic Newspaper

On October 17, a working group of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) coordinated with the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and the Government of Ireland to provide 152 plastic water tanks to people affected by natural disasters in Hoa An commune.

Representatives of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) presented water tanks to people of Hoa An commune.

At the program, experts instructed people on how to install water tanks and safely preserve water in muddy, humid environments.

With the timely support of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment , and the Irish Government, disadvantaged households in Hoa An commune are able to ensure their clean water needs after natural disasters as well as store water for daily use when natural disasters occur. Thereby, contributing to reducing the risk of environmental pollution, protecting public health, especially children and the elderly after natural disasters.
