Many changes in economic and social infrastructure

According to preliminary data, up to now, the value of agriculture, forestry, and fishery of the commune has reached 401 billion VND, an increase of six times compared to the same period in 2020; the total value of industrial and handicraft production has reached 405 billion VND, an increase of 284 billion VND compared to the same period in 2020... Service industries have diversified their types and improved quality. Total retail sales of goods and service revenue have reached 606 billion VND, twice as much as in 2020. Tourism development is associated with local potential: Sports, entertainment, resort, ecological, spiritual, indigenous, homestay, health care, mountain climbing tourism... Community tourism development is associated with festivals and traditional culture; promoting and linking to expand tourism spaces and routes. In the period of 2020-2025, the commune's state budget revenue has reached 15,160 billion VND. Up to now, there have been 64 public investment projects licensed in the area with a total investment of 375.42 billion VND. In particular, there are a number of key projects with large investments, such as: Quang Tien-Thinh Minh inter-commune road construction project (phase 1) with a length of 7.4 km and a total investment of 430 billion VND, Hoa Lac- Hoa Binh inter-commune road (phase 2) with a total investment of 2,476 billion VND...

Notably, Thinh Minh commune reached the goal of building an advanced new rural area in 2024. Cultural and sports facilities; construction, repair, upgrade and expansion of hamlet cultural houses were paid attention to, creating conditions for the development of cultural facilities to meet the needs of having a community cultural house. The commune has built, repaired, upgraded and expanded 11 cultural houses with a total cost of 25.82 billion VND. With the investment attention of the province and socialized resources, from non-budget capital actively mobilized and attracted investment in recent years, it has contributed to changing the face of the socio-economic infrastructure system in the area.

Breakthrough for development

After more than two months of implementing the two-level local government, Thinh Minh commune is promoting the application of information technology and digital transformation in all fields, especially in schools and in state management. Currently, 100% of agencies and units have registered to use specialized digital signatures of organizations to exchange electronic documents on the network environment. Effectively deploying electronic one-stop software to serve the reception and settlement of administrative procedures according to the one-stop and one-stop mechanism has brought positive results.

Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, Secretary of the Van Minh hamlet Party Cell, said that the concrete road in the hamlet used to be muddy to go to the market, but now trucks can go right into the fields. Seeing the changes in his hometown, the commune's policies are supported by the people.

Policies, programs and projects on poverty reduction have been actively implemented well. The work of creating jobs for workers has met and exceeded the targets set out in the Resolution, creating new jobs for nearly 2,000 workers in 5 years. The emulation movement "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" has been widely deployed, supporting the construction and repair of 53 houses with a total cost of 2,658 billion VND. The quality of education in the area has been increasingly improved; facilities and equipment at schools have been given attention and upgraded; the team of managers and teachers all have standard and above-standard qualifications. 10/10 schools have met national standards level 1 (100%).

Secretary of the Party Committee of Thinh Minh Commune Pham Anh Quy said that the commune has identified four breakthroughs for development, which are: Site clearance, administrative reform associated with digital transformation, building a synchronous and modern infrastructure system and training human resources. However, the most difficult thing right now is site clearance for key projects. If industrial parks, industrial clusters and major traffic routes do not start soon, the opportunity to attract investors will pass by...

Therefore, the government determined to have direct dialogue with the people, remove obstacles at the grassroots level so that the project can be implemented soon. Along with that, a modern management apparatus, administrative reform, and digital transformation were chosen as breakthroughs. Instead of queuing at the headquarters, people will do procedures online, and businesses will also be served more quickly. Transparency and efficiency in management are the measure of people's trust. With the above determination, it is hoped that the Party Committee and the people's government of all ethnic groups in the commune will "reach the finish line" of the goal of becoming Thinh Minh ward by 2030.
