BYD Seal 5 launched in Vietnam, "super fuel-efficient" sedan from 696 million VND

BYD Vietnam has just launched the new C-class sedan BYD SEAL 5 2026, this model not only brings a powerful and fuel-efficient driving experience.

The new BYD SEAL 5 2026 has just been officially launched in the Vietnamese market. This is the first C-class sedan in the segment equipped with external hybrid charging technology (PHEV). The full-frame hood is combined with a chrome-plated frameless grille. The "Starlight" LED lighting system is completely equipped.

The car is equipped with 17-inch two-tone brushed alloy wheels. The rear of the car stands out with seamless LED taillights using advanced optical technology. The luggage compartment is spacious, enough to hold up to 6 20-inch suitcases.

With a length of 4,780 mm, width of 1,837 mm, height of 1,495 mm and wheelbase of 2,718 mm, BYD SEAL 5 is the sedan with the most impressive size in the C-class sedan segment in Vietnam.

Inside, the interior is developed in a modern style with a sophisticated rotary gear lever, leather seats combined with a 12.8-inch central screen supporting wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and Vietnamese voice control.

In-car amenities also include a 15W wireless charger, a PM2.5 fine dust filter system, and a 360-degree underbody camera – a rare feature in the segment.

In particular, the car also integrates V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) technology, allowing the BYD SEAL 5 to become a mobile power source, serving outdoor activities or in emergencies.

BYD SEAL 5 is equipped with DM-i Super Hybrid technology, a platform combining a 1.5L Xiaoyun gasoline engine and a high-performance electric motor with a maximum rotation speed of 16,000 rpm. The car reaches a capacity of 209 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque, allowing acceleration from 0-100 km/h in just 7.5 seconds.

In terms of mobility, the BYD SEAL 5 can operate as a pure electric vehicle with a range of 120 km. When combining both gasoline and electric power sources, the vehicle reaches a range of up to 1,200 km, the longest in the segment, expanding confidence for long trips.

The most impressive point of BYD SEAL 5 is fuel consumption, with only 3.8 l/100 km (when SOC reaches 25%). Regarding safety equipment. Besides the 360-degree camera system that can see through the chassis or 6 airbags for comprehensive protection.
