Launching a model to prevent domestic violence in Thanh Sen ward

On the afternoon of September 21, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Tinh coordinated with the People's Committee of Thanh Sen Ward to launch the model "Prevention and control of domestic violence" at Residential Group 13 (Thanh Sen Ward).

Attending the ceremony were representatives of departments, branches, sectors and 40 members, trusted addresses for domestic violence prevention.

Family is the cell of society, the place to form personality, preserve and promote good traditional values of the nation.

A happy, equal, progressive and sustainable family is the foundation for building a civilized and prosperous society. In the current context of integration and development, the work of caring for and building families is becoming more urgent, closely linked to the requirements of socio -economic development and improving the quality of people's spiritual life.

Mr. Tran Xuan Luong, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism delivered a congratulatory speech.

The model was established in Residential Group 13, Thanh Sen Ward, including the following components: Sustainable Family Development Club; Domestic Violence Prevention Group; and a trusted address in the community.

Leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and leaders of Thanh Sen Ward People's Committee presented flowers to congratulate the Board of Directors.

Accordingly, the core task of the members is to mobilize everyone to participate in implementing the Party and State's guidelines, policies and laws on family work; to propagate the contents of family work for the Club and develop new members, voluntarily participate in long-term activities, actively and fully and build the club to develop more and more.

At the same time, closely contact and coordinate with the mediation team and the masses in residential areas, promptly detect, prevent, intervene and resolve cases of domestic violence occurring in the assigned area. Visit, encourage and remind families at risk of violence, thereby grasping the situation and promptly intervening when violence occurs. Prevent and handle cases of domestic violence occurring in the area.

At the ceremony, participants were also instructed on how to organize model activities and some contents of the Law on Prevention and Control of Domestic Violence. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism presented a set of speakers, supporting the model of prevention of domestic violence to Hamlet 13, Thanh Sen Ward.
