Within the framework of the international conference “Building a creative economy : Promoting the enforcement of copyright in Vietnam” organized by the Vietnam Copyright Association (VIETRRO) in collaboration with the Copyright Office (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), the Vietnam Publishing Association, the Ho Chi Minh City Education Association, with the support of the International Federation of Copyright Organizations (IFRRO), taking place on October 22 and 23, the Institute of Educational Sciences and Environment and the Vietnam Reading and Learning Culture Joint Stock Company introduced the Vietnamese and English editions of the book “The Road to the Future”.

The international workshop “Building a creative economy: Promoting the enforcement of copyright in Vietnam” was organized to gather domestic and international experts, managers and businesses, aiming to raise awareness and promote the enforcement of copyright - a core factor in the process of developing a creative economy, knowledge economy and national digital transformation, thereby contributing to perfecting the legal foundation for the development of a creative economy in Vietnam.
“The Road to the Future” is a unique and pioneering book that brings Vietnamese thought to the world in a modern philosophical language while still maintaining the profound identity of East Asia. The work presents the “Four Hands” theory initiated by writer and researcher Nguyen Xuan Tuan – a model of harmony between economics, politics , culture and ethics in the process of social development.
Accordingly, the two invisible hands of the market and human conscience represent freedom and humanity, while the two visible hands of the State and the social community represent order and humanity. Only when these “four hands” operate in harmony can civilization develop sustainably – both free and disciplined; both creative and humane.

From that philosophy, author Nguyen Xuan Tuan expands the vision of a humane digital civilization, where technology serves people and does not replace them; where technical progress goes hand in hand with moral progress and where every small country can still reach great heights if it knows how to balance the market, the State, the community and conscience. The transformation of Vietnam since the Doi Moi process since 1986 is a vivid demonstration of this balance. “The Road to the Future” is a mirror reflecting the nation, showing Vietnam’s spiritual and intellectual journey on the path of modernization.
From a global perspective, the Vietnam model and the “Future Road” doctrine can be a reference for developing countries in their search for a balance between economic growth and social progress, between technology and ethics, between global integration and national identity.
At the conference, the Vietnam Reading and Learning Culture Joint Stock Company and the Institute of Educational Sciences and Environment launched the English version of the book “The Part to the Future”. This is an important step in the internationalization of Vietnamese thought and knowledge. The translation was done by Vietnamese-English bilingual experts, published by The Gioi Publishing House, to help readers, scholars and international partners access the development models, policy forecasts and strategic visions proposed in the book.
According to the author, the book "The Road to the Future" is expected to be published in many countries to spread Vietnamese knowledge to the world, contributing to the effort to build a creative economy and a global learning society.
