Sacombank implements bus ticket payment via Napas card

From September 2024, customers can use domestic NAPAS chip cards issued by Sacombank (NAPAS Sacombank card) to make cashless payments on some bus routes in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, etc. At the same time, we will move towards supporting payments on other types of public transport in the next phase. Accordingly, people using VinBus electric bus routes and some other bus routes in Ho Chi Minh City can use credit cards or NAPAS Sacombank payment cards to make contactless payments when buying tickets. Passengers just need to lightly touch the card on the POS/mPOS machine installed on the bus to receive tickets quickly and conveniently, suitable for public passenger transport services. Particularly for VinBus electric buses, in addition to contactless card payment, passengers can also buy single-trip tickets by scanning the QR code on the POS machine provided by VinBus attendants. Customers pay QR via Sacombank Pay or other banking applications and e-wallets to conveniently receive bus tickets. In the next stages, Sacombank will continue to cooperate with NAPAS in implementing cashless payments in other types of public transport such as metro, bus, etc. The above services aim to encourage people to use public transport services, support green, friendly and environmentally friendly travel; and promote cashless payments for essential daily activities.
