Yen Bai Regional Business Association celebrates Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day

On the morning of October 11, the Yen Bai Business Association organized a program to celebrate Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day with the theme "Honoring businesses, connecting and inspiring". The event aimed to recognize the positive contributions of entrepreneurs and businesses to the local socio-economic development.

Attending the program were leaders of wards: Yen Bai , Au Lau, Van Phu, Nam Cuong; leaders of Lao Cai Provincial Business Association and representatives of enterprises, entrepreneurs, and cooperatives in the area.

Yen Bai Regional Business Association is a voluntary social-professional organization, affiliated with Lao Cai Provincial Business Association. Established on June 17, 2022, to date, the Association has attracted 69 members who are enterprises, cooperatives, and investors operating in 4 wards: Yen Bai, Nam Cuong, Van Phu and Au Lau.

Members operate in a variety of fields such as construction, trade, services, tourism , transportation, construction materials production, industry, agriculture, forestry and fisheries... contributing significantly to the state budget and creating jobs for thousands of local workers.

Lao Cai Provincial Business Association presented flowers to congratulate Yen Bai Regional Business Association.

In 2025, the Association built a Social Security Fund worth 110 million VND, supporting members, workers in difficulty and poor households; accompanying the government, the Association gave many gifts on the occasion of Workers' Month and War Invalids and Martyrs' Day on July 27.

In particular, during the recent impact of storm No. 10 Bualoi, the association promptly connected resources to support people in 4 heavily affected wards with necessities such as drinking water and instant noodles, and at the same time coordinated with the government to overcome the consequences after the storm, helping people stabilize their lives.

In addition to volunteer activities, the association also promotes exchange and connection programs, enhances competitiveness and promotes brands for businesses. One activity that has become a characteristic of the association is the "Open Business Coffee" program - a place to connect members and share experiences, held periodically on the second Thursday of every quarter.

Comrade Doan Huu Phung - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Secretary of Yen Bai Ward Party Committee spoke at the program.

Speaking at the program, comrade Doan Huu Phung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Yen Bai Ward Party Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved by the Yen Bai Regional Business Association. He emphasized that in the coming time, the association needs to continue to accompany the local government, promote the spirit of solidarity and innovation, and contribute to building Yen Bai into a dynamic service and trade center of the province.

Representatives of the Lao Cai Provincial Business Association and Yen Bai Ward leaders presented the Certificate of Merit of the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry to Mr. Do Vi Thuong - Vice President of Lao Cai Provincial Business Association, President of Yen Bai Regional Business Association.

Lao Cai Provincial Business Association awarded Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry awarded a Certificate of Merit to an individual with outstanding achievements in production and business, contributing to the development of the business community and local socio-economy in 2024; Lao Cai Provincial Business Association awarded Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals with achievements and positive contributions to the development of the Yen Bai Regional Business Association in 2025.
