Ready for the 1st Congress of Hai Phong City Party Committee, term 2025-2030

The 1st Congress of Hai Phong City Party Committee, term 2025-2030 will be held from September 26-27 at the City Convention and Performance Center. The Congress has the participation of 446 official delegates representing over 243,500 party members of 118 party committees under the City Party Committee.

After checking and listening to the report, Comrade Le Tien Chau, Secretary of the City Party Committee, emphasized that the 1st Congress of the City Party Committee, term 2025-2030 is an important political event, of historical significance to the Party Committee, government, army and people of the city; at the same time, he acknowledged the active and urgent participation of the city's Departments, branches and sectors in preparing for this important political event. The Congress took place in weather conditions forecasted to have rain and storms. The Secretary of the City Party Committee requested that the assigned agencies and units urgently complete all preparatory work, additional work, arising and adjusting to ensure compliance with the actual weather developments. Preparations at the City Convention and Performance Center need to urgently complete the final stages from organization, reception, celebration to ensuring security and order, fire prevention and fighting, health care and communications. The power supply at the Congress area needs to be calculated with the highest level of backup plans, to avoid interruptions and any incidents.

The City Party Secretary noted that the assigned sub-committees need to assign specific tasks and responsibilities, ensuring clear people and tasks, and no overlap; the delegations need to thoroughly inform the delegates to strictly comply with the regulations and working rules of the Congress, organize delegation meetings and disseminate important contents before, during and after the Congress, contributing to the safe, smooth and successful 1st Hai Phong City Party Congress./.
