Malaysia team beat Palestine in a stadium with few fans
Malaysian football is making strong strides. After defeating Vietnam in the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers, the “Malaysian Tigers” continued to show confidence when defeating Singapore 2-1 in the most recent friendly match. Under the leadership of coach Peter Cklamovski and a team of combative naturalized players, the Malaysian team is getting stronger and stronger, making it difficult for opponents to face each other.
However, the lack of transparency in the origin of naturalization has caused the Malaysian team to receive a lot of criticism. In the match against the Palestine team, Malaysian fans continued to show their opposition when the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium was sparsely attended, with only about 4,200 fans coming to the stadium. This number is only 1/10 of the capacity of the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium. According to the News Strait Times , right before the match started, Malaysian fans flooded the website of the Football Association of this country to mock.

With a team of many naturalized strikers such as Figuiredo, Holgado, Morales, Nooa Laine, the Malaysian team surprisingly dominated Palestine - a team 18 places higher than them in the FIFA rankings. Coach Peter Cklamovski's team played at full speed, especially in counter-attacks. At the end of the first half, the Malaysian team also had a 1-0 advantage after Figuiredo's goal in the 3rd minute.
In the second half, both Malaysia and Palestine played at a very slow pace. The home team had 4 more shots but none of them were on target. On the other side, it was not until the last minutes of the match that Palestine pushed up their formation and had a few dangerous chances. However, the away team was also unable to penetrate the Malaysian net, accepting a 0-1 defeat.
The Indonesian and Lebanese teams played extremely tough, almost fighting many times.
At Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium, the Indonesian team had their second friendly match during the September FIFA Days against the Lebanese team. In this match, coach Patrick Kluivert surprised many Indonesian fans by leaving many naturalized players on the bench, giving the opportunity to start for the local players.
The absence of naturalized players made it difficult for the Indonesian team to face the well-organized defense of Lebanon. The first half was dull when both teams only had 5 shots and all of them were inaccurate, leading to a 0-0 draw. Instead of seeing beautiful passing and receiving, the fans at Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium witnessed the two teams' aggressive play and constant fouls. In the middle of the first half, the Indonesian players almost got into a fight with their Lebanese opponents when defenders Kevin Diks and Jay Idzes suddenly got angry.

After the break, both teams made many adjustments. However, the game did not change much when both the Indonesian and Lebanese strikers played poorly, not even once hitting the target. Similar to the first half, the midfield area was still heated when the players of both sides continuously clashed. In the final minutes of the match, coach Patrick Kluivert renewed the strikers, sending many naturalized players onto the field, but the Indonesian team could not score, having to draw 0-0 with Lebanese. Even in the extra minutes, the two teams continued to leave an ugly image when they clashed with each other.
