According to the investigation conclusion of the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency (C01), beauty queen Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien and 4 other defendants, including Hang Du Muc and Quang Linh Vlogs, were proposed for prosecution under Decision No. 47/KLĐT-VPCQCSĐT-P3 for the crime of deceiving customers.
Miss Thuy Tien participated in advertising Kera candy products but did not fully understand the production process, only tried to test the product's toughness.
Regarding profit sharing, Thuy Tien initially received 25% of the profits from product sales according to the capital contribution ratio, then increased to 30% from December 2024.
Notably, during the investigation, Thuy Tien's family paid 3.2 billion VND to remedy the consequences.

On September 8, 2025, Sen Vang Commercial Advertising Joint Stock Company issued an official press release clarifying its position in this case.
According to the announcement, after C01 issued the investigation conclusion, some information on the media and social networks "invented headlines, speculations, and edits", causing public opinion to misunderstand the nature of the incident and affecting the reputation of Sen Vang Company as well as Ms. Pham Thi Kim Dung personally.
The official conclusion of C01, quoted verbatim by Sen Vang Company, affirmed: "The above individuals did not participate in discussions or exchanges during the production, promotion, introduction, and announcement of Kera candy products of Chi Em Rot Company; did not negotiate or exchange content related to the promotion of Kera candy products with shareholders of Chi Em Rot Company; Tien's participation as an image representative, promoting and introducing the Kera brand is a personal act, not representing Sen Vang Company".
The investigation conclusion also clarified that, only on March 7, 2025, after Thuy Tien asked Sen Vang Company (her management unit) to sign the legalization of the service contract with Chi Em Rot Company, did Ms. Pham Thi Kim Dung direct the staff to draft contract No. 267/HDDV/SV-2024 dated December 5, 2024.
The purpose of signing this contract is "to help preserve the image of Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien, to avoid affecting Sen Vang Company". Sen Vang Company and the 4 individuals do not benefit in the process of producing, promoting, introducing and announcing Kera candy products.
Therefore, the investigation agency concluded that the actions of Ms. Pham Thi Kim Dung and 3 other individuals in Sen Vang Company "did not constitute a crime, and showed no signs of complicity" with the defendants in the case of "Deceiving customers".
In the announcement, Sen Vang Company emphasized that the company and Ms. Pham Thi Kim Dung "completely did not know, were not involved in the entire process of negotiation, production, business, marketing as well as profit from Kera candy products."
The company requests that press and media agencies report accurate and objective news, based on the official investigation conclusions of the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Department, to avoid causing serious misunderstandings and negatively affecting the company's image.
