Vietravel Tourism Joint Stock Company (Vietravel, stock code VTR) has just reported the results of its share offering to existing shareholders. Accordingly, Vietravel has successfully distributed all 28.66 million shares, equivalent to 100% of the offering quantity to 1,137 shareholders, earning nearly 344 billion VND. The charter capital has now increased to 573 billion VND. The proceeds will be used to pay off the company's loans.
Previously, the company approved a plan to offer common shares to existing shareholders at a 1:1 exercise ratio, offering price of VND12,000/share.
The expected date of transfer of shares is September 2025, after Vietravel Tourism Joint Stock Company completes the registration of additional depository of additional issued shares at the Vietnam Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation and registers the transaction of additional issued shares at the Hanoi Stock Exchange.
According to the company's shareholder list, Ms. Nguyen Thuy Tien is the largest shareholder with 12 million shares (equivalent to 20% ownership). With the offering price of VND12,000/share, this female shareholder is holding VTR shares worth VND144 billion.
According to the explanation, Ms. Thuy Tien does not hold any position at the company nor has any relationship with individuals or organizations related to Vietravel.

On the other hand, in mid-March, Hung Thinh Corporation sold 6 million VTR shares. After the transaction, Hung Thinh no longer holds shares in Vietravel even though it previously owned 20.94% of capital and was the largest shareholder.
Vietravel was established on December 20, 1995 with the original name of Tourism and Transport Marketing Company under the Ministry of Transport .
At the 2025 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, the Board of Directors of Vietravel approved the decision to adjust the company name. Accordingly, the company changed its name to "Vietravel Tourism Joint Stock Company" as it is now.
Vietravel is currently the largest domestic and international travel company in Vietnam with a charter capital of over VND 573 billion and total assets of VND 2,767 billion (as of June 30, 2025). Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Ky, currently owns 11.18% of the share capital.
Regarding business results, in the second quarter of 2025, the Company recorded net revenue of more than VND 2,025 billion, a slight decrease compared to VND 2,061 billion in the same period last year. Profit after tax reached about VND 1,016 billion, a sharp decrease compared to VND 6,344 billion in the same period in 2024.
The company said that due to the impact of tariff policies of influential countries, exchange rate fluctuations caused the company's financial costs to increase sharply by 49.2% compared to the same period, equivalent to VND9.8 billion. As a result, the company's after-tax profit decreased by 83.97%, equivalent to VND5.3 billion.
Accumulated in the first 6 months of 2025, Vietravel's net revenue reached more than 3,319 billion VND. Profit after tax reached nearly 7 billion VND, while in the same period in 2024 it reached nearly 19 billion VND.
