Soc Trang examines and treats more than 4,000 poor people for free

On July 7, Soc Trang province launched a program to examine and provide free treatment for more than 4,000 poor and disadvantaged people.

Many people came to the medical examination and treatment program.

This free examination and treatment activity will take place from July 7 to 9, from 8:00 to 17:00, at Area E - Soc Trang General Hospital.

The program targets more than 4,000 poor people, people in difficult circumstances, people with revolutionary contributions, sick and lonely people... who need health consultation, medical examination and treatment in Soc Trang province and neighboring localities.

Doctors and nurses provide free health examinations and consultations to people.

The scope of examination and treatment includes: ultrasound screening for congenital heart disease, general dentistry, eye examination, diabetes, goiter, gynecology, neuropsychiatry, etc. People also receive health consultation, free medication and treatment for dental and maxillofacial diseases.

This is a program implemented by the medical examination team of the Ho Chi Minh City Pediatric Cardiology and Congenital Heart Association, Soc Trang General Hospital, Soc Trang Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital and related units.
