According to Lieutenant Nguyen Van Sang, Department of Intensive Care and Anti-Poison, Military Hospital 175, on one flight, they had to receive 3 patients consecutively from 3 different islands, the work intensity was intense and the pressure was extremely high. In particular, the case of the patient with tuberculous meningitis on Tien Nu Island was very serious, any change in pressure in the cabin could increase intracranial pressure, endangering his life.

"We had to discuss carefully with the flight crew, agreeing to fly at the lowest possible altitude to ensure the safety of the patients, even though it would make the flight longer. Every minute in the air was tense. But in the end, all three patients were brought home safely. That is the most important thing," Lieutenant Nguyen Van Sang informed.
