Youth Festival 2025 with exciting activities to preserve national cultural identity

The Provincial Youth Union - Vietnam Youth Union of Lao Cai province in coordination with Yen Bai Ethnic Minority Boarding High School has just organized "Youth Festival with activities to preserve national cultural identity in 2025".

The program was attended by leaders of the Provincial Youth Union, the School Board of Directors, and a large number of union members, youth, and students. This is one of the practical activities responding to the Youth Union's work program and youth movement for the 2025-2026 school year, aiming to promote the pioneering and volunteering role of young people in preserving and spreading traditional cultural values.

Speaking at the festival, the representative of the Provincial Youth Union emphasized that maintaining, promoting and practicing the beautiful national culture in the lives of today's youth not only helps the young generation understand their roots but also contributes to fostering pride and a sense of responsibility in the work of building their homeland.

Comrade Dong Manh Linh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Youth Union, Head of the Organization and Inspection Committee, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee spoke at the festival.

Within the framework of the program, the Provincial Youth Union - Vietnam Youth Union of the province presented 12 gifts, each worth 300,000 VND, to students with difficult circumstances studying at the school.

The highlight of the festival was the performance of traditional costumes by the students themselves. The exquisite traditional costumes recreated a colorful picture of the cultural identity of the ethnic groups, creating a strong impression on the audience.

After the art performance, students and members continued to enthusiastically participate in folk games such as tug of war, stick pushing, sack jumping, etc. These activities are not only entertaining and improve health but also evoke the spirit of solidarity and exchange between groups.

At the end of the festival, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to groups and individuals with outstanding achievements, contributing to creating a joyful and united atmosphere and leaving a beautiful impression in the hearts of students, union members and youth.
