Erling Haaland (right) will help Manchester City overcome the challenge at Brentford
Brentford will be aiming for a crucial win in round 7 when they host Manchester City at home at 10:30pm on October 5. The Bees will be aiming to build on their 3-1 win over Manchester United, but they will face a much bigger test against Manchester City.
One player to watch for the home side will be Igor Thiago, who scored a brace against Ruben Amorim's men, while both Gustavo Nunes and Paris Maghoma are in the recovery room.
The press has suggested that Brentford could be chasing a goal: to become the first team to beat both Manchester clubs in consecutive Premier League games since Tottenham Hotspur in January 1996. However, that is an empty title for a team in the bottom half of the table like the Bees.
Meanwhile, Manchester City regained much-needed confidence by crushing Burnley 5-1. Pep Guardiola aims to continue climbing the table and with Liverpool losing to Chelsea, Manchester City have a good chance to close the gap on the top of the table.
For Pep himself, a win at the Gtech Stadium will be his 250th in just 350 official matches – an achievement that puts him in the legend category as he reached the milestone in the fewest number of matches (74 matches less than any other coach).
Pep Guardiola has put his faith in key players Rodri, Erling Haaland and Tijjani Reijnders for Sunday's game, with an away win a must-win, although Omar Marmoush, Rayan Ait-Nouri, Abdukodir Khusanov and Rayan Cherki are all ruled out through injury.
Interestingly, most experts gave the same answer. Former coach Harry Redknapp chose 1-2 , former player Chris Sutton supported Manchester City to win 2-1, and former Arsenal midfielder Paul Mersey also agreed with that result. Only former BBC commentator Mark Lawrenson chose 1-3.

The initial odds were that Manchester City would only concede half a goal, losing money (winning 82, losing all). But by Saturday morning, the odds had changed to a full handicap of 1 goal and Brentford would only win 82. By noon today, the market had changed again, changing back to Manchester City giving half a goal, winning 8, losing all. However, this odds (half a goal, winning 8) is very close to 1 goal and the market could change before the match starts. Anyway, with Manchester City's determination, choosing the upper hand is still more fun.
The most popular score is 1-2 with the lowest price: Bet 1 to win only 8. Next are Manchester City wins 0-1 and 0-2 with the same price of 1 to win 9.2. Besides, a draw 1-1 is also promising with a price of 1 to win 8.3, while 2-2 pays up to 14.
