Early completion of the project of socialization of investment and exploitation of Tho Xuan airport

The master plan for the development of the national airport and seaport system for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050, and the Tho Xuan Airport (CHK) planning for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050, orient the function of Tho Xuan CHK in the national civil airport network as an international airport.

The port's infrastructure scale by 2030 will meet a capacity of about 5 million passengers/year, and by 2050 it will meet a capacity of about 7 million passengers/year.

Investment in developing construction items at Tho Xuan Airport will be carried out according to approved planning based on transportation growth needs, ensuring compliance with current regulations.

Tho Xuan Airport currently meets the 4C airport scale, ensuring the exploitation of code C aircraft (such as A320/A321 and equivalent); the aircraft parking lot can accommodate 6 positions; the passenger terminal is designed with a capacity of about 1.2 million passengers/year.
