The series of programs The Boat Without a Dock of the Vietnam Contemporary Arts Theater continues to return to the capital's audience through the 9th episode, taking place on the evening of September 27 at the Hanoi Opera House. This is an art program honoring timeless, lyrical, romantic love songs of musicians Dang The Phong, Doan Chuan - Tu Linh, Van Cao, Pham Dinh Chuong, Vu Thanh An, Lam Phuong, Ngo Thuy Mien, Anh Bang...

The music night was edited and staged by People's Artist Tran Binh with the artistic direction of Meritorious Artist Quynh Trang - Director of Vietnam Contemporary Arts Theater, bringing together famous artists: famous singers Ngoc Son, Ngoc Anh, Meritorious Artist Viet Hoan, Meritorious Artist Minh Thu, singers Ho Trung Dung, Le Viet Anh, Bao Yen, along with the band Huyen Trung, MC Chien Thang, May Dance Group, Contemporary Dance Group and Thoi Gian Group.

The highlight of the show is the first collaboration between Ngoc Son - Ngoc Anh - Viet Hoan, 3 singers who have been associated with many generations of audiences. The production team revealed that it will be a surprise and asked to keep it a secret until the last minute.

If the golden generation of artists brings maturity and experience, young singers like Bao Yen, Ho Trung Dung, and Le Viet Anh breathe new life into the program.

"Music needs to be revived through many generations to both preserve its value and have long-lasting influence," People's Artist Tran Binh shared.

Sharing with VietNamnet reporter, singer Bao Yen was moved when performing Suoi Mo and Thien Thai by Van Cao for the first time: "These are classic works, difficult in both vocal technique and emotional depth. For me, standing on the stage of the Opera House, singing with a live orchestra is an experience that is both thrilling and happy. I hope the audience will welcome the freshness of the young generation but still feel the original soul of the work."

Meanwhile, famous singer Ngoc Son expressed his appreciation when returning to the capital's audience: "I have been attached to many lyrical songs since my early days of singing. Every time I sing "Huong tham" or "Em oi Ha Noi pho" , I feel like I see myself again in my dreamy days. Knowing that Hanoi's audience is very sophisticated, I have prepared carefully so that the performance is both intimate and elegant."

Le Viet Anh - Champion of Sao Mai 2011 felt happy when he got to perform 2 songs by Ngo Thuy Mien and Lam Phuong.

" Love song for you helps me to sublimate my love emotions, while Hundred memories, thousand love contains endless regrets. I believe that with delicate arrangements and a live band, those melodies will touch the hearts of the audience," the singer shared.

The wish of singer Viet Hoan Meritorious Artist Viet Hoan hopes that young people today will not only live green as a temporary trend but turn it into a long-term lifestyle.
