On November 7-8, 2025, the Vietnam Semiconductor Industry Exhibition 2025 (SEMIEXPO Vietnam 2025) will be held in Dong Anh, Hanoi. The event is chaired by the Ministry of Finance , implemented by the National Innovation Center (NIC) in collaboration with the Semiconductor Industry Association (SEMI).
SEMIEXPO Vietnam is being held for the second time, expected to attract more than 5,000 delegates, including government leaders, ministries, technology corporations, research institutes, universities and domestic and foreign experts. The exhibition focuses on displaying microchip design technology, assembly, testing, packaging, and many solutions related to AI, automation and smart manufacturing.

Mr. Vo Xuan Hoai, Deputy Director of NIC, emphasized that SEMIEXPO Vietnam is not only an exhibition but also a strong catalyst to promote integration and affirm Vietnam's role in the world semiconductor industry.
In addition to the exhibition, the program also includes a high-level conference, thematic forums on the semiconductor equipment supply chain, the impact of AI in high-tech manufacturing, global market prospects as well as policy mechanisms to support the industry. A number of activities connecting supply and demand, human resource training and business exchanges will also be held in parallel.
According to forecasts, Vietnam's semiconductor industry has an average revenue growth rate of about 11.6% per year until 2027. Vietnam has currently attracted nearly 170 high-tech FDI projects, and is implementing many initiatives to build laboratories and R&D centers to prepare for the next stage of development. The government aims to be partially self-sufficient in chip design, production and testing by 2027.
Ms. Linda Tan, President of SEMI Southeast Asia, commented that this year's event takes place at an important stage, when Vietnam is accelerating the building of domestic supply chain capacity and promoting international cooperation. She pointed out that a young, technology-savvy workforce is a strategic advantage that helps Vietnam develop high-quality human resources in the high-tech sector.
In addition, the Government’s investment support and incentive policies are creating a favorable environment for the semiconductor and artificial intelligence industries. Industrial infrastructure and research and development (R&D) are also expanding rapidly, especially in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Bac Giang, demonstrating readiness to integrate into the global value chain.
SEMI SEA expects the SSEMIEXPO Vietnam 2025 exhibition to bring many positive impacts: enhancing Vietnam's position on the global semiconductor map, attracting foreign direct investment and cooperation with large corporations, promoting technology transfer and international standards, as well as expanding training programs and improving skills for engineers and R&D teams.
At the same time, SEMIEXPO 2025 will also facilitate cooperation between the government and enterprises to develop semiconductor industrial clusters and build innovation networks through cooperation between universities, research institutes and enterprises.
To support Vietnam in developing human resources and enhancing international connectivity, at SEMIEXPO Vietnam 2025, SEMI SEA has implemented many initiatives. These include TalentCONNECT - a program that attracted more than 240 students to participate in career sharing sessions, technology exhibitions and direct connections with business leaders; NextGen Hub - a cooperation platform between universities, startups and businesses to promote innovation and workforce development; along with strategic dialogues with universities to orient training programs to meet the global needs of the semiconductor industry.
