Updated data until 5:00 p.m. on October 19 (Vietnam time) from the Joint Typhoon Warning Center (JTWC - USA), storm Fengshen has crossed the central Philippines into the East Sea.
At the same time, the Vietnam National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting also reported that the center of storm Fengshen had entered the East Sea and become the 12th storm of 2025 (in the East Sea). The storm is forecast to cause strong winds, large waves and dangerous weather in the coming days.

Vietnam's meteorological agency forecasts that by tomorrow afternoon, October 20, the storm's center will be in the North East Sea, about 380km east-northeast of the Hoang Sa archipelago, with a strength of level 10 and gusts of level 12. The storm then continued to move southwest at a speed of about 10km/h and gradually weakened.

Due to the storm combined with cold air and high-altitude easterly winds, mainland areas of the Central region from Nghe An to Quang Ngai need to be on guard against moderate to heavy rain, with some places experiencing very heavy rain; risk of flash floods and landslides in mountainous areas and flooding in low-lying areas.
