Lynk & Co 08 is about to launch in Vietnam, from about 1.4 billion VND

08 EM-P is the first plug-in hybrid (PHEV) model of the Lynk & Co brand, which will be officially launched in the Vietnamese market on October 24, 2025.

According to information from the dealer, the first batch of Lynk & Co 08 cars arrived at the port in June 2025, serving the testing, inspection and preparation for display at showrooms nationwide. Initially, the launch event was scheduled to take place in mid-October but was postponed to the end of the month to complete the organization.

Lynk & Co 08 is positioned in the D-class SUV segment, targeting customers looking for a dynamic, luxurious and environmentally friendly car. The car is expected to be distributed in two versions, with an estimated selling price of 1.4 - 1.5 billion VND.

In terms of size, Lynk & Co 08, which is about to be sold in the Vietnamese market, has a length of 4,820 mm, a width of 1,915 mm, a height of 1,685 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,848 mm.

The car has a sporty coupe-SUV style, featuring extended LED lights, “T” shaped positioning lights and large air vents for a strong look. The standard version is equipped with 18-inch wheels, while the premium version is equipped with 21-inch wheels.

The car's interior is designed in a modern minimalist style, focusing on the user experience. The car has a 15.4-inch central screen, a 12.3-inch digital dashboard, a head-up display (HUD), a 23-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, and heated, cooled, and massaged front seats.

Lynk & Co 08 is developed on the CMA Evo platform, sharing technology with many Volvo and Geely models, promising to bring stable performance and a unique driving feel.

Powering the car is a hybrid powertrain that combines a 1.5L turbocharged engine and two electric motors, along with a 39.6 kWh battery pack for a total output of 345 horsepower and 580 Nm of torque.

The car weighs nearly 2 tons but still has the ability to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 6.7 seconds. According to the announcement, the car's fuel consumption is only 1.3 liters/100 km, the distance traveled is up to 1,400 km with a full tank of gas, even tested to reach more than 1,800 km. If running purely on electricity, the car can go up to 200 km.

In terms of safety, the Lynk & Co 08 EM-P is equipped with a series of advanced driving assistance systems (ADAS) such as active lane keeping, adaptive cruise control, early collision warning, and a 540-degree panoramic camera.

The appearance of Lynk & Co 08 EM-P marks a new step for this Chinese brand in the Vietnamese market, opening the strategy of expanding into the high-end electric vehicle segment in the period 2025 - 2026.
