Recently, Tim Cook made a surprise appearance at the Labubu exhibition celebrating Pop Mart's 10th anniversary in Shanghai, China. At the event, he was given a special edition Labubu model with his own face and style.
The figurine holding an orange iPhone 17 Pro quickly became a hot topic on social media. Tim Cook shared on Weibo that he was “very impressed with how Pop Mart used iPad Pro to create Labubu”.
Immediately after the event, Pop Mart shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange increased by 6.1%, raising its capitalization to more than VND1,180 trillion. Analysts say this is a signal that Apple wants to connect with China's creative culture industry. The event also took place right before Apple opened pre-orders for the iPhone Air in China on October 17.
With this subtle "cultural handshake", Tim Cook once again proves Apple's ability to create extremely strong media effects. Dear readers, please watch more videos : Iris scanning tool to verify human | VTV24
