Giving 800 gifts to people in border areas

HNN.VN - On October 20, the Border Guard Station of A Dot border gate coordinated with the local government of A Luoi 4 commune and the group of benefactors of Ba Ria ward, Ho Chi Minh City to organize a program to give 800 gifts to students and disadvantaged people in the area.

800 gifts were given to students and people in border areas.

The units presented 300 gifts to students of A Roang Kindergarten and 500 gifts to disadvantaged households of A Luoi 4 commune, with a total value of 240 million VND.

During the program, A Dot Border Guard Station also organized activities to respond to Vietnam Law Day, propagandized crime prevention and drug abuse for 500 people in A Luoi 4 commune, and distributed 500 propaganda leaflets.

The activity aims to implement the direction of the Hue City Border Guard Command, respond to the peak month "For the poor" in 2025; continue to carry out the emulation movement "For the poor, no one is left behind", practically make achievements towards the 50th anniversary of the establishment of A Dot Border Guard Station (December 25, 1975 - December 25, 2025). Through that, strengthen the solidarity and close bond between officers and soldiers of A Dot Border Guard Station in particular, the city's border guard force in general with the people in the border area, contributing to firmly protecting the independence, sovereignty , territorial integrity and border security of the Fatherland.
