Donate water tanks to households affected by natural disasters.

The program is organized by UNICEF in coordination with the National Center for Rural Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation, the Center for Agricultural Extension and Services of Lao Cai province, and local authorities.

The beneficiaries are households that suffered heavy damage to their domestic water supply systems in the communes of Cao Son, Pha Long, Ta Cu Ty, Bac Ha, Ban Lien, Coc Lau and Bao Nhai - which were severely affected by landslides after the storm's circulation.

Specifically, in June and July 2025, the program implemented two equipment distribution rounds. Each household was provided with a 1,000-liter water tank, along with accompanying installation accessories, helping people proactively store domestic water in conditions of interrupted or polluted water sources, contributing to improving resilience to natural disasters and climate change. All water tanks were sponsored by the Irish people through UNICEF.

The close coordination between domestic authorities and international organizations such as UNICEF has demonstrated a sense of responsibility and joined hands to support the community in overcoming difficulties and stabilizing their lives.
