On October 16, Mr. Pham Van Hoa, Deputy Director of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Agriculture and Transport Construction Investment Project Management Board (investor of component project 1 of the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway project), said that the project's progress is meeting requirements. The first 20km of the route is expected to be completed on December 19, 2025, according to the Prime Minister's direction.

From May 2025 to now, the erratic sunshine and rain at the construction site have affected the construction progress, especially construction packages 2 and 3. To overcome the difficulties, the investor has directed the contractor to mobilize machinery, equipment, and human resources to organize construction in "3 shifts, 4 teams" to meet the progress.

Mr. Vu Huu Khoa, Deputy Director of Khanh Hoa Road Management and Construction Joint Stock Company, said that in construction package No. 1 (the first 22km section of the route), there are 9 bridges that the unit undertakes to construct.
To date, the unit has basically completed 8 bridges, and the Song Cai Bridge is expected to be completed in November this year, 3 months ahead of the contract schedule. The contractor is making efforts to mobilize machinery and equipment to speed up the progress.

Component 1 of the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway project has 3 construction packages; the total value implemented to date is about 2,275 billion VND, reaching 62.86% of the contract value, exceeding the plan by 3.19%.
In addition to the 22km construction package No. 1 constructed by Son Hai Group Company Limited, the construction package No. 2 (10km in the middle of the route) implemented by the Phuong Nam - Bac Trung Nam - Dong Duong Joint Venture has so far reached 45.58% of the contract value; the construction package No. 3 (construction of Km30 bridge and Cua Dong bridge) implemented by Truong Son Construction Corporation has so far reached 51% of the contract value.
The Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway Project Phase 1 has a total length of 117.5km, a scale of 4 lanes, and a roadbed width of 17m. When completed, it will shorten the distance from Khanh Hoa province to the administrative - political center of Dak Lak province from about 200km to 117km.
