Thai Nguyen: Budget revenue in 9 months increased by more than 34%

According to preliminary data from the financial authority, in the first 9 months of 2025, the total state budget revenue in Thai Nguyen province is estimated at 17,782 billion VND, equal to 71.9% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council and an increase of 34.2% over the same period last year.

Production in the processing and manufacturing industry increased by 9.58% over the same period, the highest in the past 3 years, making an important contribution to local budget revenue.

Of the total budget revenue, domestic revenue reached VND15,224 billion, accounting for 85.6% of the total revenue structure, up 35.6% over the same period; revenue from import and export reached VND2,295.3 billion, up 20.2%. The revenue structure shifted towards a more sustainable direction when the proportion of domestic revenue increased, gradually decreasing dependence on revenue from import and export.

The province's garment export value in the third quarter reached 138.9 million USD, up 10.4% over the same period.

On the other hand, preliminary local state budget expenditure for the first 9 months reached VND22,102 billion, equal to 75.5% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council, up 53.3% over the same period. Of which, development investment expenditure was VND5,358 billion, reaching 78.7% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council, up 80.9% over the same period, accounting for 24.2% of the expenditure structure; regular expenditure reached VND14,586 billion, up 54% over the same period, focusing on the fields of education , health, social security and the administrative apparatus after the merger; other expenditure tasks reached VND2,096 billion.
