Soldiers help people clean up after floods. |
During the rainy and flood days of October, despite the rapid rise in the Cau River water level and the urgent situation of natural disaster prevention, the entire political system of the province was not shaken. Implementing the "4 on-site" motto, the province did a good job of directing and flexibly handling situations in the spirit of on-site forces, means - materials and support.
The first emergency situation (on the morning of October 7) that the province directed and handled very flexibly was the successful mobilization of forces to move and ensure the safety of 300 students of Na Ri Ethnic Minority Secondary School out of the dangerous flood area.
Accordingly, with the initiative and positivity, as soon as receiving the direction from the superiors, the Na Ri Commune Police force quickly joined the fight, coordinating with the soldiers of the Mobile Police Command, the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police force (Provincial Police) to excellently complete the assigned tasks.
Teacher Nong Thi Tuyet, Principal of the School, said: We are extremely grateful and admire the spirit of "serving the people" and the silent sacrifice of the police officers during the days of flood.
Also with the motto of deploying forces on the spot, on the night of October 8 and 9, the Provincial Police mobilized officers and soldiers to work all night, using means to approach isolated households in deeply flooded areas, to supply food, necessities and move people and property, especially women, children and the elderly, to safe places.
