Join the night run to clean up trash on Nha Trang beach, spreading love for the sea and islands

More than 250 volunteers, including athletes and members of the organizing committee of the Nha Trang night run, collected and cleaned up the environment on the beach.

On the morning of December 14, within the framework of the activities of the Nha Trang Night Run Sanvinest - Khanh Hoa Newspaper 2024, the organizing committee organized a program to collect waste, clean the beach, and promote the preservation of marine environment with the message "Spreading love for the sea and islands" at the beach area near Hon Do (Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province).

More than 250 volunteers were divided into 5 groups to pick up trash and clear bushes at the beach area near Hon Do.

The activity collected 2 tons of waste, cleaning the beach. After collection, the waste was transported by workers of Nha Trang Urban Environment Joint Stock Company using specialized vehicles to be processed according to regulations.

Participating in the beach cleanup, athlete Doan Thi Han Hai (Nha Trang City) shared: "The race not only protects the environment but also spreads the message of love for the sea and islands, thereby educating everyone, especially young people."

Journalist Le Hoang Trieu - Deputy Editor-in-Chief in charge of Khanh Hoa Newspaper, Head of the Organizing Committee of Nha Trang Night Run Sanvinest - Khanh Hoa Newspaper 2024 - said that this activity was organized to respond to the movement to protect the marine environment, conveying the message "Spreading love for the sea and islands" of the tournament.

Mr. Trieu said the organizers of the night run hope that protecting the marine environment will not stop at this activity, volunteers need to continue to propagate to their family members and local people about the awareness of preserving a green, clean and beautiful marine environment, contributing to promoting the beautiful image of Khanh Hoa's sea and islands.
