Vinh Tan 2 Thermal Power Plant (Vinh Tan 2 Thermal Power Plant) with a capacity of 2x622 MW is one of the largest thermal power plants in Vietnam. The plant is operated by Vinh Tan Thermal Power Company - a branch of Power Generation Corporation 3 (EVNGENCO3) - Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN). As of April 15, 2024, the cumulative electricity output of Vinh Tan Thermal Power Company since installation reached 63.6 billion kWh; playing a particularly important role in ensuring electricity supply for the Southern region, contributing to ensuring national energy security, especially in the dry season when electricity demand increases. In addition, the Company is also striving to maintain sustainable development by applying advanced technologies and effective environmental management solutions such as: Modern exhaust gas treatment system; Standard wastewater treatment system; Effective environmental management. The delegation witnessed the green landscape at the Company's factories growing significantly, playing an important role in protecting the environment and creating a green - clean - beautiful and friendly working environment.
