On the evening of January 12, Da Lat City Police worked with relevant people and extracted camera footage to investigate the case of a young man being repeatedly slashed with a knife by a stranger.

Before that, at about 4:20 p.m., Mr. T. was carrying a box of goods from his house to his car parked on Nguyen Chi Thanh Street (Ward 1, Da Lat City) when he was suddenly slashed repeatedly by a man walking by with a knife.

Unexpectedly robbed, Mr. T. panicked and ran away. At that time, the street was crowded so people shouted and the subject stopped. Immediately after that, the subject got into the car of a young man waiting nearby and left the scene.

Witnessing the incident, many people took the victim to the emergency room. The entire incident lasted for nearly 20 seconds and was recorded by security cameras.

According to Lam Dong General Hospital, the patient was admitted with injuries to the lumbar region, forearms, and bruises on the back. The police continue to investigate and clarify the case.
