Teacher strangled by colleague in school yard

(Dan Tri) - A male national defense education teacher at Vo Nguyen Giap High School (Dak Lak province) was choked and cursed by the school's math teacher when he was reminded to park his motorbike properly.

On October 7, a leader of Vo Nguyen Giap High School (Ea O commune, Dak Lak province) confirmed that this unit had sent a report to the Dak Lak Department of Education and Training and the Ea O commune police about the math teacher choking and cursing the national defense education teacher right in the middle of the school yard.

According to the report, at about 7:10 a.m. on October 3, Mr. NTS, Secretary of the School Youth Union, taught national defense education and was on duty to check student discipline as assigned by the school's board of directors.

At this time, teacher S. discovered that Mr. D.T. (math teacher) parked his motorbike in the middle of the school gate, so he reminded him to park his vehicle properly.

Mr. T. cursed, threatened and rushed in to strangle Mr. S. in front of the school security guards and students.

According to a report from Vo Nguyen Giap High School, the incident left Mr. S. with a neck injury, affecting his teaching mentality and shocking the students who witnessed it.

"During his work at the school, Mr. T. often displayed unusual behavior, repeatedly cursing and insulting students. When reminded by the school leadership, Mr. T. even cursed the leadership.

The school's disciplinary board has disciplined Mr. T. twice for violations, but he has not changed his personality. We hope the case will be handled strictly so that the school can have a safe and healthy educational environment," the leader of Vo Nguyen Giap High School informed.
