Construction of district road DH 02, Ninh Giang district, phase 1

Contractor is removing the organic soil layer for the construction of District Road DH 02, Phase 1

According to the Ninh Giang District Construction Investment Project Management Board, the construction of district road DH 02, phase 1 (section from provincial road 396B to district road DH 01) in Ninh Giang district started on June 5.

Currently, contractors are focusing on removing organic soil and digging the roadbed through Binh Xuyen commune.

The project to build district road DH02 - phase 1 (section from provincial road 396B to district road DH01) in Ninh Giang district has a total investment of nearly 770 billion VND, invested by the Ninh Giang District Construction Investment Project Management Board.

The route is more than 10.6 km long, passing through Tan Quang, Tan Phong, Kien Phuc, Binh Xuyen, Tan Huong communes, starting at the intersection with provincial road 396B in Tan Quang commune, ending at the intersection with district road DH 01 in Tan Huong commune. The route is designed according to the standards of a grade II plain road, with a design speed of 80 km/h, a load capacity of 10 tons, and a high-grade asphalt concrete surface A1. The basic roadbed width is 12 m, and at some major intersections it is widened to 21 - 32 m.

On the route, there are 4 major intersections with key routes including Provincial Road 396B, North-South axis road, Hong Phuc-Tan Phong district road and Provincial Road 396C. Along the route, there are 3 bridges over rivers and canals including Cong Le bridge, Truc Vung canal bridge and Dam river overpass.

Route DH 02 phase 1 is more than 10.6 km long, passing through the communes of Tan Quang, Tan Phong, Kien Phuc, Binh Xuyen, and Tan Huong.

The consortium of 4 contractors for the construction of the project is Bach Dang Construction Corporation - JSC (leading the consortium), Viet Thanh Construction Company Limited, VMH Construction and Trading Group Joint Stock Company and Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company No. 18. The supervising consultant is Hanoi Construction Investment Consulting and Training Joint Stock Company.

Estimated construction time from June 2025 to September 2026.

The project's objective is to gradually complete the traffic network of Ninh Giang district according to the overall development plan of Hai Duong province until 2020 and orientation to 2030. At the same time, it contributes to connecting the traffic system of communes in the district, creating space to attract investment in developing new industrial parks, ecological service urban areas, and business sectors along both sides of the route.
