The first subject of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam is Literature. With 120 minutes, candidates complete the test including reading comprehension and writing. The test changes towards approaching students' abilities with the structure of the test and the content of the materials outside the textbook, requiring analytical thinking and perception of candidates, but this is an opportunity for them to express their own views and opinions, especially the social argumentation question discussing the topic "the sky of any homeland is the sky of the Fatherland" which is considered quite realistic when associated with the current context of merging provinces and cities.

After the Literature exam, on the afternoon of June 26, candidates will take the Math exam for 90 minutes. The Math exam covers 70% of the 12th grade curriculum and 30% of the 11th grade curriculum, focusing on topics such as spatial geometry, trigonometry, sequences, and graph theory.

To ensure the exam takes place safely and seriously, at each exam site, along with the arrangement of 02 security officers in the exam area, there are at least 7 security officers and traffic police on duty outside to direct traffic as well as promptly support candidates to the exam site when situations arise. Major Le Truong Son - Nguyen Trai Ward Police, Kon Tum City, said: " The Lien Viet Secondary and High School exam site is the exam site with the largest number of candidates in the whole province, so in terms of security and order, more soldiers are deployed. Specifically, there are 9 officers and soldiers in charge of ensuring security and order in the outer area. At 6:00 a.m., we deployed security work and the brothers were spread throughout the Lien Viet School campus, then, ensuring good security and order work regarding traffic safety."

On the first day of the High School Graduation Exam, for the Literature exam, at 14 exam sites in the province, 24 candidates were absent for unknown reasons and 02 candidates died before the exam; for the Math exam, 19 candidates were absent, of which 04 candidates were exempted from the exam, 13 candidates dropped out and 02 candidates died before the exam. At all exam sites, youth volunteers, police and traffic police actively supported candidates to ensure safety during the exam. Thanks to this active support, some candidates who forgot their documents or overslept were brought to the exam sites on time. On the first exam day, there were no cases of exam officials, teachers and candidates violating exam regulations./.
