Lack of criteria to determine industrial cluster model

The Provincial People's Committee has just reported to the Ministry of Finance the difficulties and problems regarding business investment, tax, and customs of FDI projects in the province.

In particular, the Provincial People's Committee reported on difficulties related to criteria for determining industrial cluster (IC) development models in the province. Specifically, regarding the criteria for determining IC development models, including: specialized ICs, supporting ICs, ecological ICs... Based on the provisions of Decree No. 32/2024/ND-CP of the Government, the Ministry of Industry and Trade conducts "Research and development of criteria for determining effective IC development models that protect the environment. At the same time, organize guidance and recognition for IC development models".

However, to date, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has not yet issued criteria to identify effective and environmentally friendly industrial park development models. Therefore, localities have not had a basis for implementation.
