The deadline for receiving entries for the 'For the cause of cultural development' Award has been adjusted to August 10, 2025.

The deadline for receiving entries (according to the postmark) for the third National Press Award "For the cause of developing Vietnamese Culture" has been adjusted to August 10, 2025.

On July 28, Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Hai Binh, Head of the Organizing Committee of the third National Press Award "For the cause of developing Vietnamese Culture", signed and issued Plan No. 3712/KH-BTCGBC on organizing the award.

The plan clearly states that the third National Press Award "For the cause of developing Vietnamese Culture" organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism aims to recognize and honor the outstanding contributions of collectives, individuals, and teams of journalists to the cause of developing Vietnamese culture.

The award is organized to introduce and promote the results and achievements of culture, information, family, sports and tourism, and at the same time, discover advanced models in the culture, information, family, sports and tourism sector; encourage and motivate cadres in the whole sector to join hands and continue to contribute more to the cause of developing Vietnamese culture.

The award creates conditions for journalists to exchange professional and technical experiences, contributing to improving the quality and effectiveness of information and press activities in the fields of culture, information, family, sports and tourism.

In the Plan, the Deputy Minister requested that the third National Press Award "For the cause of developing Vietnamese Culture" ensure compliance with the Party's viewpoints, policies, and guidelines, and the State's policies and laws on press management.

In addition, the Award must ensure democracy, publicity, transparency, and proper evaluation of excellent journalistic works on culture, information, family, sports and tourism.

The Deputy Minister also requested that the Award be organized economically and solemnly, honoring journalism and journalists.

Notably, the Plan has adjusted the time for posting and receiving entries.

According to the rules of the third National Press Award "For the cause of developing Vietnamese Culture" attached to Decision No. 2513/QD-BTCGBC dated July 21, 2025 of the Head of the Organizing Committee of the Award, the time for posting works is from June 16, 2024 to June 30, 2025.

The deadline for submissions is July 31, 2025 ( postmark ). The Award Ceremony is scheduled to be held in Hanoi on October 20, 2025.

In order to meet the wishes and aspirations of reporters, journalists, and press agencies to have more time to prepare their works, creating conditions for authors to fully reflect the important events of the country as well as the culture, sports and tourism sector, the Organizing Committee of the 3rd National Press Award "For the cause of developing Vietnamese Culture" has decided to adjust the posting and broadcasting time; the time to receive works and the expected Award Ceremony as follows:

Time for publishing and broadcasting works in all types of press: from June 16, 2024 to July 31, 2025.

Deadline for submissions (postmarked) is August 10, 2025.

The announcement and award ceremony of the third National Press Award "For the cause of developing Vietnamese Culture" is expected to be held in Hanoi on October 30, 2025.

In addition to the adjusted contents as mentioned above, other contents still follow the Regulations of the Third National Press Award "For the cause of developing Vietnamese Culture" attached to Decision No. 2513/QD-BTCGBC dated July 21, 2025 of the Head of the Organizing Committee of the Award as announced.

The Organizing Committee of the Award looks forward to receiving the attention, support and active participation of reporters, journalists, authors at home and abroad; news agencies and newspapers, contributing to the success of the third season of the National Press Award "For the cause of developing Vietnamese Culture" after two very successful seasons, creating an impression and resounding reputation in the country's journalism industry.
