Attending the meeting, on the side of Lao Cai province (Vietnam), there was Mr. Do Xuan Thuy - Deputy Director of the Department of Finance of Lao Cai province as Head of the delegation and leaders of a number of departments, branches and sectors of the province. On the side of Hong Ha district, Yunnan province (China), there was Mr. Ly Tri Quoc - Deputy Director of the Department of Trade of Hong Ha district, as Head of the delegation and representatives of relevant agencies and units.
Accordingly, the 25th Vietnam - China International Trade Fair (Lao Cai) in 2025 will be held from November 19 - 24, 2025, at Kim Thanh Exhibition Fair Center, Lao Cai province with the theme "Lao Cai and Yunnan - Connection and Development".
Recently, the two sides' fair organizing committees have coordinated to organize meetings and introduce information in Ho Chi Minh City; organize trade fairs to invite businesses from Yunnan and Zhejiang provinces (China).
In the coming time, the Organizing Committees of both sides will continue to invite businesses to participate in booths at the fair, focusing on businesses with strengths; receive booth registration, prioritize selecting reputable export businesses with products with export potential; regularly contact and exchange to grasp and update new information and related arising issues.
Representatives of the Fair Organizing Committee of both sides spoke at the meeting.
In a friendly and intimate atmosphere, based on the content of the first working session, the two sides discussed the content of decoration, celebration; participating goods; arrangement and setup of booths and related activities, such as: Conference to introduce mechanisms, policies, investment attraction projects, press conferences, diplomatic meetings, Economic and Trade Cooperation Talks between Lao Cai and Yunnan provinces; Conference to introduce import and export policies and mechanisms combined with trade between Vietnamese and Chinese enterprises; megalive program to introduce, promote and sell products directly at the Fair...
Regarding some proposed and recommended contents that are not within their authority, the two sides agreed to report and seek opinions from competent authorities of Lao Cai province and Hong Ha district to adjust the Fair organization plan to be suitable and effective.
The third working session is scheduled to take place on October 31, 2025.
