Deputy Minister of Construction Bui Hong Minh was appointed as Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for Enterprise Innovation and Development for a 5-year term from 2024 to 2029.
The decision, signed by Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang, takes effect from April 1, 2024.
Mr. Bui Hong Minh, 53 years old, from Thanh Hoa , has worked for a long time at But Son Cement Company and Ha Tien Cement. He has held leadership positions at Vietnam Cement Corporation such as General Director, Chairman of the Board of Members, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Corporation, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc. In June 2021, Mr. Minh was appointed Deputy Minister of Construction.

After Mr. Bui Hong Minh transferred to another job, Minister of Construction Nguyen Thanh Nghi still had three Deputy Ministers assisting him, including Mr. Nguyen Van Sinh, Mr. Nguyen Tuong Van, and Mr. Bui Xuan Dung.
The Steering Committee for Enterprise Innovation and Development is responsible for assisting the Prime Minister in researching, directing, guiding the implementation and inspection of the reform of state-owned enterprises, state-owned agricultural and forestry farms and the development of enterprises registered to operate under the Enterprise Law.
The Board also helps the Prime Minister develop programs and plans to reform state-owned enterprises and develop enterprises registered to operate under the Enterprise Law nationwide; helps the Prime Minister direct, guide and monitor the implementation of programs and plans after approval...
The Steering Committee is headed by Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai. Current Deputy Heads include: Minister, Head of the Government Office Tran Van Son (Standing Deputy Head); Mr. Nguyen Hong Long, Mr. Nguyen Canh Viet, Mr. Bui Hong Minh (Deputy Heads in charge).
