Prime Minister decides on personnel of Ministry of National Defense

VTV.vn - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has signed and issued decisions to appoint and extend his term of office at the Ministry of National Defense.

Specifically, in Decision No. 2315/QD-TTg and Decision No. 2316/QD-TTg, respectively, the Prime Minister decided to extend the term of office of Deputy Minister of National Defense according to regulations for: Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Central Military Commission; Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Central Military Commission Standing Committee. The above Decisions take effect from October 24, 2025.

In Decision No. 2318/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister decided to extend the term of office of Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army according to regulations for Senior Lieutenant General Huynh Chien Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Central Military Commission. This decision takes effect from November 5, 2025.

In Decision No. 2279/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister appointed Major General Tran Van Luong, Commander of Coast Guard Region 4, Vietnam Coast Guard, to hold the position of Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Vietnam Coast Guard. The term of appointment is 5 years. This Decision takes effect from October 17, 2025.
