Since the afternoon of May 28, many clips have appeared on social media platforms recording scenes of police officers and soldiers checking motorbikes in the Dai Nam racetrack area (Hiep An ward, Thu Dau Mot city, Binh Duong province), next to which there are quite a few young men and women with motorbikes of different colors.
According to the shared content, Dai Nam racetrack was inspected by the police or "Dai Nam fell".
The clip attracted public attention because Dai Nam racetrack belongs to Mr. Huynh Uy Dung (aka Dung "lime kiln") and Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hang - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dai Nam Joint Stock Company.
On May 29, Mr. Vo Kim Thanh - Deputy General Director of Dai Nam Joint Stock Company said that the information shared on social networks with the content "Dai Nam fell" is not true.
According to Mr. Thanh, the reason for the presence of police at the racetrack is because the venue is holding a licensed race, and the authorities are checking vehicles and drivers to ensure safety according to regulations.
Speaking to reporters, Lieutenant Colonel Pham Quang Truong - Deputy Head of the Traffic Police Department of Binh Duong Province Police said that on May 28, the unit coordinated with Thu Dau Mot City Police to check the vehicles and participants of the race before the competition. This is a normal inspection activity at each racing tournament.
If the inspection process detects that the vehicle does not meet the regulations or the driver has alcohol or stimulants, the authorities will not allow the competition according to the regulations. For athletes who meet the regulations, they will be allowed to participate in the tournament after the inspection.
