Recently, Thuy Ngan posted a behind-the-scenes video clip of co-star Vo Canh being injured on her personal page.

The actress shared that before filming, she joked that she would treat Vo Canh to ice cream if he did well in the scene. However, just a few seconds later, the actor fell hard, hitting his head on the ground, bleeding profusely.

"The whole crew was shocked and worried. Everything happened so fast, I still couldn't process it" - Thuy Ngan recounted. Immediately after, the medical team immediately treated the wound on the spot while waiting for the car to take the actor to the hospital.

Vo Canh's injury was an accident.

The action scenes were carefully prepared by the crew with protective padding and close safety supervision, so Vo Canh's injury was an unexpected incident.

"I had filmed the previous scenes well and felt very safe with the ending scene, so I did it with a very relaxed mindset. Maybe that's why I was a bit subjective, I jumped harder than necessary, causing me to lose balance and fall and hit my head on the ground" - the actor said.

At the hospital, the doctor ordered an MRI to examine his head. Luckily, Vo Canh was not seriously injured, only needing stitches, a tetanus shot and temporary rest.

Vo Canh said he was only worried about slowing down the crew's progress, but after finishing the stitches, everything was back to normal pretty quickly and he was ready to continue filming. The only thing was that he wasn't allowed to wash his hair, so he had to use dry shampoo every day to style it in time for filming.

When asked if this was the most memorable scene, Vo Canh said the film had many challenging action scenes, but accepting the risk of injury was something he had anticipated when taking the role.

"I always remind myself to try my best to bring the most complete character possible to the audience, that is my motivation and joy. With action movies, getting injured is something I am ready to accept. Luckily, my injury was minor" - Vo Canh said.

In the film, Vo Canh plays Duc Nhan, a Vietnamese criminal police officer, who teams up with Angel (played by Thuy Ngan) - a special agent of the Southeast Asian anti-crime force, on a journey to destroy a transnational fraud ring.

The duo tracked cases of recruiting workers to go abroad with promises of high salaries, but in reality, forced victims to participate in online scams, make fake calls to authorities, and even buy and sell organs.

After two weeks of broadcasting, "Don't You Dream of Escaping Me" attracted more than 100 million views on platforms (VieON, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Zalo Video), and became one of the outstanding Vietnamese series of July.

The film is being broadcast on VieON, starting from 4-7.
