The Department of Industry and Trade actively organizes trade promotion activities, connects supply and demand for Vietnamese goods, key products, and local OCOP products, and coordinates with units and localities to regularly organize fairs to display and introduce products to help people have more shopping options.
Along with that, the State's policy of reducing value added tax by 2% (from 10% to 8%) has contributed to reducing the selling price of many goods and services; encouraging people to shop; and promoting production, trade and service activities.
Thanks to that, in the first 9 months of 2025, the total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue of the whole province is estimated to reach more than 99.3 trillion VND, an increase of 14.3% over the same period last year, of which retail sales of goods account for the largest proportion, estimated at 78.6 trillion VND.
